Growing a Great Lawn
When cared for properly, the lawn can become the highlight of any garden and make your neighbours green with envy! A secret to any healthy lawn...
What’s a brown-thumb?
We’ve all heard of a green-thumb – that person who has the ability to just get the green stuff ‘right’ in the garden (we secretly believe that they are just the ones who remember to water their plants!). A brown-thumb is a soil lover who doesn’t really understand the green stuff – healthy, rich soil is what gets their garden fires burning.
So this is a story of how a brown-thumb is going to make the most of their healthy soil, with us following their journey. Getting the brown stuff right so that they can turn their suburban, straggly and nutrient-deficient backyard into an edible wonderland.
Follow our story each month here on our website, in our newsletter, or like us on Facebook to get the dirt on healthy soil from the experts at Jeffries and gardening advice from Mark Caldicott.
