Preparing your soil for the growing season of fruit and veg is the best investment you can make in your home vegetable garden.

Starting with a soil rich in organic matter, you can blend your own mix of Organic Compost and sandy loam or you can use our Veggie & Garden Soil to get off to a great start. Seal the deal for your plants with a layer of fine mulch (we recommend Forest Mulch as your best choice) to keep in moisture and to feed your soil throughout the growing season.

Supporting your plants with a liquid fertiliser can top off their nutrient needs — healthy plants are happy plants and can better resist disease and pest attacks.
